Pop star Katy Perry has channeled her inner Marilyn Manson and Morticia Adams for a dramatic image overhaul.

 The “I Kissed a Girl” hitmaker is famous for her bright, colorful outfits and playful candy-inspired accessories, but she’s now ditched the cupcake dresses and electric blue hair for a spooky new look.

 She wowed onlookers at the NARM Music Biz 2012 Awards in Culver City, California on Thursday night by stepping out wearing a floor-length black gown with transparent stripes and sporting deep purple locks, smoky eye make-up, and plum-colored lipstick.And Perry’s dramatic new image is clearly bringing her good luck – she scooped the Artist of the Year award at the ceremony.
